Abstract Submission Guidelines

Keynote

  1. Duration: Each presentation should be between 35-40 minutes in length, with no time allocated for questions immediately following your talk.
  2. Q&A Session: Questions and discussion will be held at the end of the session, which includes multiple talks on a common topic. The session chair will moderate this discussion.
  3. Format: Presentations must be submitted in one of the following formats: .ppt, .doc, or .pdf.
  4. AV Setup: A professional AV setup and technical support will be provided.
  5. Recording: Please note that video recording is strictly prohibited during your presentation.

Oral

  1. Presentation Duration: Each presentation should be strictly limited to 15-20 minutes. You are required to stop when signaled by the session chair, ensuring that the allocated time is adhered to without exception.
  2. Q&A: There will be no questions immediately following individual presentations. Questions and discussions will be addressed at the end of the session, which will include multiple presentations on a common topic. The session chair will facilitate and moderate the discussion.
  3. Slide Content: Please ensure that the number of slides is kept to a minimum. Each slide should be concise and support the key messages of your presentation.
  4. Compatibility: Your PowerPoint presentation must be compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, as both will be used in the meeting hall.
  5. Presentation Formats: Please submit your presentation in one of the following formats: .ppt.doc, or .pdf.

Poster

  1. Size: The poster must be in A0 size (841mm x 1189mm), fitting within the poster board dimensions of 950mm (width) x 1250mm (height).
  2. Orientation: Posters must be in portrait style.
  3. Design: Ensure the poster conveys a clear message. Avoid overloading with excessive information—less is more.
  4. Readability: Text should be large enough to be read from 2-3 meters. Use a minimum of 1 cm height for text and 2.5 cm height for titles.
  5. Impact: Make sure the poster is visually clear and easy to interpret at first glance.

video

  1. Submission Deadline: All videos must be submitted to the Program Manager at least one month before the conference.
  2. Audio & Speaking: Ensure clear audio with the microphone close to the mouth. Speak slowly, clearly, and without pauses.
  3. Format: Videos should be in HD format (1280 x 720 or higher).
  4. Presentation Style: Include a webcam window showing the speaker. Voice-over presentations without the speaker are not acceptable.
  5. Webcam Option: If preferred, the speaker may turn off their webcam to maintain anonymity.
  6. File QualityVerify the quality of both video and audio before submitting.

E-Poster

  1. Attendance: E-Poster presenters need not attend the conference.
  2. Certificate: Soft copy of Certificate of Participation will be provided, accredited by the Organizing Committee.
  3. Abstract Publication: Abstract will be published in the Proceedings Book.
  4. Submission: Submit E-Poster in PDF format to the Program Manager one month before the conference.
  5. Compatibility: Posters must be Windows-compatible.
  6. Design: Use high-contrast colors, readable fonts, and high-quality images.

Workshop

  1. Audience Consideration: Tailor the language, examples, and level of detail to align with the audience’s knowledge and needs.
  2. Presentation Structure: Clearly outline the presentation’s framework, including key topics, planned activities, and time allocation.
  3. Seamless Transitions: Ensure smooth and logical transitions between slides and topics to facilitate audience comprehension.
  4. Design Consistency: Maintain a uniform design, including color scheme and font style, throughout the presentation.
  5. Use of Visual Aids: Incorporate charts, graphs, images, and videos to enhance engagement and effectively illustrate key points.
  6. Text Presentation: Adhere to the “6x6 rule,” limiting slides to six bullet points, each containing no more than six words, to avoid overwhelming the audience.
