Abstract Submission Guidelines

Keynote

  1. We will have a professional AV setup and staff working with us on presentations and so it is particularly important that you adhere to the presentation information given here.
  2. The length of each talk is 40-45 minutes. There will be no questions following each talk. Instead, questions and discussion will be at the end of a session comprising talks of a common topic. The session chair will moderate this discussion.
  3. Video Recording is strictly not allowed.
  4. Presentation format: .ppt, .doc, .pdf.

Oral

  1. Presentation slides should be kept minimum and presentation time should be strictly followed and need to stop when signaled to do by chair.
  2. The length of each talk is 25-30 minutes. There will be no questions following each talk. Instead, questions and discussion will be at the end of a session comprising talks of a common topic. The session chair will moderate this discussion.
  3. PowerPoint should be compatible with both windows and Mac book used in the meeting hall.
  4. Presentation format: .ppt, .doc, .pdf.

Poster

  1. Poster size should be A0 size. (A0 size is double A1 and measures 841mm by 1189mm)
  2. Poster BOARD dimensions = 950mm wide x 1250mm high. Please ensure the poster is not larger than this space so it can fit on the allotted board.
  3. Posters should be in PORTRAIT style
  4. Design the poster to convey a CLEAR MESSAGE. If the message is not clear at first glance, the reader will move on to the next poster.
  5. Avoid overload. Too much information detracts from the overall impact. LESS IS MORE!
  6. Posters should be clear and easy to read. Type size should be sufficiently large to allow people to read from 2-3 meters. Minimum of 1 cm high for text and 2.5 cm high for titles.

Video

  1. All the video presentation speakers should send their video to the program manager before 1 month of the conference.
  2. A good quality should be used close to mouth and speaking should be slow and enunciate clearly, without pausing.
  3. Recommended set for HD format (1280 x 720 or other "720p" setting) or higher.
  4. It should be pre-recorded presentation including a window box with the speaking presenter via a webcam, instead of a voice-over presentation only.
  5. If the speaker is not interested to show their identity than they can switch off their webcam.
  6. Make sure you check your files before submitting to ensure their quality (video and sound).

E-poster

  1. E poster presenters are not required to attend the conference.
  2. Will be provided with soft copy of Certificate of Participation/Recognition as E-poster presentation accredited by our Organizing Committee Members, along with abstracts proceedings book.
  3. Eposter must be in PDF format only, which must be submitted to program manager before 1 month of the conference.
  4. Poster must be compatible in playing windows system only.
  5. Use high-contrast lettering and readable fonts, high-contrast colors, high quality of images, standard fonts in the poster.

Workshop

  1. Adjust your language, examples, and level of detail to suit your audience's needs and knowledge.
  2. Outline your presentation's structure, including the main topics, activities, and time allocation. 
  3. Ensure a smooth transition between slides and topics, keeping the presentation easy to follow. 
  4. Maintain a consistent design, color scheme, and font throughout your presentation. 
  5. Use charts, graphs, images, and videos to enhance engagement and clarify key points. 
  6. Use the "6x6 rule" (6 bullet points per slide, each with 6 words or less) to avoid overwhelming the audience with text.
